Wolfe, Anna M. "Nanny" - Anna M. "Nanny" Wolfe, 74, of Finksburg, died Monday evening, May 5, 2003, at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown. Born Novemer 30, 1928 in Edgewood, Harford County, she was the daughter of the late William H. Kestner and Naomi Gunther Kestner. She was a member of Sandymount United Methodist Church and the Sandy Villagers. Her hobbies were sewing and quilting. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Robert A. Jones ofFinksburg; sisters Betty Bolling, Ada Hicks and Isabelle Spalding; a brother, Harry Kestner; grandchildren Michele Silverman, Soctt and Maggie Jones; and great-grandchildren Angela, Rachel, Jessup and Ethan. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm.m Saturday at Sandymount United Methodist Church, 2101 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Glen L. Arnold, officiating. Interment of ashes will be in Sandymount Cemetery. (Kestner), Doris Fischer- Doria Elizabeth was welcomed to her heavenly life on Holy Saturday, April 3, 2010. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Only three weeks prior, on March 13, she enjoyed celebrating her 88th birthday. The singing of "Happy Birthday" delighted her and brought a tear to her eye. She said she never thought she would live this long! Doris had a bad knee from falling on Mingo Trail in Sand Run Park while on a hike with her daughter's second grade class outing in the spring of 1967. Doris also had gray hair, which she attributed directly to her two sons. The second of nine children, Doris was predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Katie McGuiggan Fish, her sisters and brothers and her daughter Judy. Kestner, Jean Alma- 84 of Springfield passed away Wednesday morning, December 31, 2008 in the Villa Springfield. She was born September 19, 1924 in Edison, Ohio, the daughter of Ellery and Erma (Campbell) Merwine. Jean was a very devoted and proud mother of her six beloved sons. Kestner, Lyria C. - Lyria C. Kestner Age 97, of Massillon, died Friday, August 2011, at Brewster Parke. She was born in Lewisville on Dec. 29, 1913, to the late George and Mary (Young) Smith and married Otto H. Kestner on April 10, 1934. He died Feb. 4, 1974. She was a member of the Stanwood Community Church and enjoyed gardening, quilting and bowling. She is survived by a son Glenn Kestner, of Massillon; a daughter Wilda (Robert) Budklew of Winchester, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Greg (Chris) Kestner of Massillon, Doug Kestner of Massillon and Anita (Bruce) Alford of Ruston, La., and three great-grandchildren, Corey and Griffin Kestner and Daniel Alford. In addition to her husband , she was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster with Rev. Dale Boston officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Massillon. There will be no calling hours.
