Gunther, Andrew A. -The funeral of Andrew A. Gunther, who was killed by falling from a B. and O. freight rain, took place in the morning from his home, Laurens Street. High mass was celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church by the Rev. Peter Krein. Sixteen conductors and brakemen attended in a body, and took a floral "Gates Ajar" as their tribute. A number of other designs were received. The active pall-bearers were C.W. Allen, T.J. Kernan, W.J. Drury, D.E. Myers, W. Bell, R. Hill, W. Cowman, J.W. Crocker, W. Hubbard. The others of the railroad delegation were F. Deitz, W. Cook, Capt. W. Chaney, C. Holtzman, J. Gallagher. The remains were interred in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Philadelphia Road. Gunther, Herman J. - Funeral services for Herman J. Gunther, a heavy equipment operator for a quarry firm, will be held at 11:30 A.M. today at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Joppa. Mr Gunther, who was 50, died Tuesday of cancer at his home, at Maple avenue, in Essex. For 26 years, he operated a front-end loader at the Chase Sand Plant of the Harry T. Campbell & Sons Company. A Native of Baltimore, he was a graduate of the Kenwood High School and served in the National Guard. He was a former member of the board of the Sue Haven Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorthy R. Leach; a son, Herman E. Gunther, of Chase; a daughter, Debra L. Gunther, of Essex; his father, Herman W.
